Bhutan, or officially known as Kingdom of Bhutan is a small buddhist country in South Asia, landlocked in the beautiful Eastern Himalayas.
I had the chance to visit Bhutan recently, and everyday was an adventure, a story to tell, and beautiful sights to behold. It’s bestowed with lush green mountains, serene valleys, intricate architecture and amazing people!
My trip was spread over 5 days, out of which I used the first and the last to travel in and out of the country and the rest of the 3 days were planned to make the most of the adventure.
It started with a trek to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery or otherwise known as Paro Tatksang, followed by travelling to Thimpu and spending a day there, and at the end visiting the famous Punakha Dzong located further away from Thimpu.
I was blessed with the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and and make their portraits along the way, And find tranquility in the all the natural beauty this place has to offer.
