This tool was developed for Axis Studios as a part of their Assets Pipeline. I’m extremely grateful to them for letting me share and talk a little bit about the tool here on Artstation.
It’s a QC Tool to check the asset geometry while working or before publishing, to make sure that it’s technically sound and adheres to the requirements of other departments such as Rigging and Surfacing.
Written in Python, mainly using Pymel libraries and accessing the Maya Python API wherever necessary for specific features or speed benefits. UI created using Pyside2/PyQt.
